This summer, I was blessed with the opportunity to work for an international law firm. The experience thus far has been amazing and so enlightening. I visited London for a week on behalf of the firm, and while putting my makeup on in the mirror I had an outer-body experience. "Is this my life?" As a little girl, I remember watching women board flights by themselves for what seemed to be work. I remember registering for my first international relations course at The College of William & Mary, in hopes that I would one day find a career that allowed me to travel the world. Now, I can add to this list of memories - the moment in London when I stood in front of the mirror and realized I was beginning to live out my dream. With much prayer, a lot of hard work (emphasis on a lot of hard work), and a "Who Gon' Stop Me?!" determination, anything is possible.
